I use the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards of practice, which is a step above all others as a guide for my home inspections. What the Inspection Covers? Hundred of items are inspected and you will provided with a written report as to the apparent general condition of the structures components and systems, including identification of significant observable deficiencies as they existed at the time of inspection.
